*I like to tell adults about things I do during my day.  I use my imaginaition to tell fantasy stories.  I enjoy playing make-believe.   I am able to play with outhers for longer time periods.  I am intrigued by interesting sounds around me and often chant funny words.

*Has a vocabulary of 1000-1500 words.
*Recites simple poems or songs.
*Constantly asks, "What?" "Why? "How?"

*Can say full name.
*Counts three or more objects.
*Names three or more colors.

*Copies a cross.
*Able to stay on a line when cutting.
*Can build a bridge with three blocks.
*Colors pictures but can't stay within lines.
*Draws stick figures with two to four parts other than head.
*Can use a spoon and fork.
*Beginning to use preferred hand with better coordination.
*Dresses self with supervision.  Can lace but not tie shoes.
*Can button and unbutton.

*Throws a ball overhand.
*50% successful at throwing and catching a ball from approximately six feet.
*Beginning to bounce a ball.

*Alternates feet going up and down stairs.
*Can stand on tip-toe
*Running is more controlled iwth feet closer together.
*Skips using one foot.
